Valley Gardens, Harrogate We are running a Craftival area at this new indie Festival being launched this summer in Harrogate. Join us and have a go at making some crafts yourself! We will be demonstrating how to make different crafts, and you will also be able to buy some of our products. Saturday, 30th January, 8pm, Ripley Town Hall Step back in time and join us for an incredible evening of 1940s style, plus two superb live bands, including, 'The night-Flyers', a 14-piece Jazz band! Guaranteed to be the most topping night out you've had in DECADES. Tickets are just £15, including food. Wizard chaps! Thank you to everyone who came! Craft Sessions at Corrina and Friends Community Cafe

October - December 2015: 1.45-2.45 every Tuesday during term time.
Just £5 donation per session. Only 6 places per workshop. Pop in or book your place at the counter. The cafe is on 12 Mayfield Grove, Harrogate, HG1 5LB. Previous sessions: handmade paper beads, hand-printed wrapping paper and gift tags, beading and jewellery-making, fabric flower corsages, brooches and hair accessories. More dates to come soon... |
Back-to-the-Blitz Party 2015
Guests at our 1940s-themed party looked FABULOUS and helped raise much-needed funds to plant a craft workshop for disabled artisans in Peru. (See PERU page!) Big thanks to everyone who came, donated and generally made the evening such a fantastic one.
And a very BIG thanks to Gary at the Sunrise Cafe, Skipton Road, Harrogate, for providing the amazing food and Des O'Hara's incredible band for keeping us all on the dance floor all night!
